We are delighted to welcome 10 new apprentices to the AI Agency this semester.

Each of our apprentices brings a unique background and a deep passion for technology, innovation, and community service. Whether they are focused on computer science, marketing, or business, they all share a common goal: to use AI to make a meaningful difference.

A Diverse Range of Expertise and Interests

Our apprentices come from various academic disciplines, including Integrated Marketing Communications, Physics, Graphic Design, Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Finance, and Management. This diversity in academic backgrounds reflects the multifaceted nature of AI and its potential applications across different industries. From Dominic Hines, who is passionate about merging technology with marketing to enhance non-profit outreach, to Gabrielle Williams, who aims to apply AI in science-based industries, our apprentices are poised to bring innovative solutions to the table.

A Commitment to Social Impact

What sets our apprentices apart is their commitment to using AI for social impact. John-Xavier Thornton, a junior majoring in Finance and Management, is focused on using AI to bridge the digital divide and ensure that AI solutions are inclusive and free from bias. Hermariya Stephens, a senior in Computer Engineering, is dedicated to helping small businesses and non-profits turn their dreams into reality through technology. These students are not just learning AI for the sake of technology—they are driven by a desire to use AI to improve lives and communities.

Hands-On Experience and Real-World Applications

Our apprentices are not just learning about AI—they are applying it in real-world scenarios. Through the apprenticeship program, they will work on projects that directly impact local businesses and organizations. S'Kyah Mason, a senior in Graphic Design, is excited about using AI to optimize fundraising efforts and improve customer experiences for non-profits and for-profits alike. MyKinzi Roy, also a senior in Graphic Design, is returning to the AI Agency after a successful summer, ready to continue using AI tools to support small business growth. Tanika Hathorn, a senior in Business Administration, is eager to deepen her knowledge of AI and apply it to help businesses grow and operate more efficiently.

A Vision for the Future

These apprentices are not only focused on their current projects—they have a vision for the future of AI. Cameron Younger, a sophomore in Computer Engineering, is committed to using AI to help small brands grow by effectively capturing consumer attention. Ayomide Daniel Abiola, a freshman in Accounting, is passionate about integrating AI into business practices, particularly in data analysis and decision-making, to ensure that businesses can stay ahead of market trends and improve financial management.

As these ten apprentices embark on their journey with the AI Agency, we are confident that their contributions will have a lasting impact on the businesses and communities they serve. Their diverse skills, combined with their passion for innovation and social impact, make them the perfect candidates to lead the way in leveraging AI for social and economic growth.
